Homeo, Homeo(stasis), Wherefore Art Thou Homeo(stasis)?

Constant change has been felt as the planet Earth continuously ages and exists in the universe. Springing life forms in it is one of the most significant events that has been written throughout the history. Various ecosystems eventually formed and brought life different kinds of species interdependent with each other, observing homeostasis on Earth. However, as humanity continues to evolve, many ecosystems are being destroyed due to human activities and due to inability of these certain species to adapt to a new environment. Ecosystems decrease in number and organisms extinct.

In order for people to implement possible remedies in the restoration of ecosystems, one must first look back and find the root cause of this problem. Deforestation is undeniably the first and major cause of this issue. Trees, in which various organisms live and nest on, are unconsciously being cut and burned down. Due to this activity, the homing organisms flew away and find for another habitat. But due to the low chance and inability to adapt theirselves in a new environment, they extinct. Such major changes do not only deploy harm and disturbances to essential habitats but rather, can also pave way to soil erosion, flooding in low areas, and the change in weather patterns. Trees are crucial to the maintenance of equilibrium in the planet and they are people's and animal's source of oxygen that keeps them kicking and alive. Implementing inorganic farming and different agricultural practices also lead to the destruction of habitats, plant variety reduction, and use of inorganic fertilizers and pesticides that also affect vital insect pollinators.

As development continues, restoration of different ecosystems must be observed in order to maintain the homeostasis of all organisms. Careful planning for the different projects to restoration must be implemented. People should be cautious with nature for it is the source of things that give them life. In doing something, one must be certain that no one is harmed.
